Dos Santos by Fernando Dearagon: Book Reading & Signing

Diaspora, Ithaca Commons

Join local author Fernando de Aragon in conversation and reading from his novel, Dos Santos. Set in Boriken (Puerto Rico) 1508, during the first years of Spanish settlement. The story follows one man who sets out to achieve his dreams in this new land and finds his destiny among the indigenous Tainos. Carefully researched, Dos Santos provides a rare glimpse into a little known chapter of the Spanish conquest of the ‘new world’.

Brought to you by Latino Civic Association. Collaboration Palante.
